Avaaz.org Organized a Great Awareness Day About Climate Change Issues

Avaaz.org helped organize a worldwide effort to bring greater awareness to the issue of global climate change through creative events that urged world leaders meeting in New York at the UN Summit on Climate Change to step up and take appropriate action to save the planet. Yugratna Srivastav, a thirteen year old passionate Indian girl, addressed world leaders at the Summit and urged them to work together and act now to protect the earth from the ravages of climate change and pollution.
