Republicans Block the DISCLOSE Act that would create transparency in elections

Republicans yet again hold important legislation hostage by refusing to allow passage of The DISCLOSE Act which would require disclosure of sources of funding for political campaigns and campaign related ads. When asked why they refused to pass this sunlight bill, Republicans claim it would have created an advantage for Democrats? How is that?
