Fox News Accuses Global Warming Scientists of Being a Cult?

Fox has got to be kidding, right? They are attempting to brand Al Gore and any scientist claiming there is Global Warming happening on our planet as — meaow — cult figures?

It shows that Fox News folks are running out of material to fight the overwhelming scientific evidence that global warming is happening, and now they stoop to blaming it on — a cult? Or, that the “mainstream media isn’t covering this whole climate-gate thing.”

Does Fox News ever refer to scientific facts?

Not really. Instead they are determined to equate scientists who provide research data on global warming as part of a “hoax.”

Fox commentator Michelle Malkin accuses Dr. John Holdren, Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy since March 19, 2009, of being a “Global Warming hysteric for the last 30-40 years.”

Ms. Malkin’s name calling of  Dr. Holdren, who previously was the Teresa and John Heinz Professor of Environmental Policy at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, has no basis in reality. In fact, she fails to cite one fact to back up her petty slanderous slurs of Dr. Holdren.

Is Fox News Really a Cult?

A member of Fox News so-called “Great American Panel” claims scientists who believe in global warming are part of a cult and here’s why:

“It’s a cult and not science because science has to deal with all the evidence whether you like it or whether you don’t. Cults lock out evidence that they don’t like and they locked it out.”

Well, then according to the above definition of what a “cult” does, would Fox be considered a cult because — stay with me — meaow – Fox “locks out evidence” that it does not like in its so-called news programs. Therefore, Fox News is — a cult.

Wow.

Media Matters Week in Review for Dec. 11 captures Glenn Beck claiming that “environmentalism is the new socialism.”

Fox News just attacks environmentalists or climate change scientists without any meaningful evidence to disprove their scientific data that humanity is contributing to climate change.
