Time to Ratify the Historic START Treaty in 2010

Time to ratify the historic START Treaty in 2010. Military experts and cold war warriors like Henry Kissinger, Sam Nunn, William Perry and George Shultz agree the U.S. and the world will be safer without the threat of nuclear weapons. It is up to the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee to move the treaty out of committee to a full vote in the Senate. Passage of the START Treaty should gain bipartisan support. Will Senator Lugar be able to convince his colleagues of the importance and necessity of passing the START Treaty? Many nuclear and non-nuclear nations are hoping that the U.S. will quickly ratify this treaty. Continue reading
